(More customer reviews)This cake came out of the oven smelling and looking great. I let it cool on a cooling rack for 20 minutes before removing it from the pan and it shrunk considerably! The cake had a totally wonky appearance after it shrank, no longer a proper circle and the top was slightly uneven and a large crack formed in the top. I ended up cutting the edges off to make it a true circle and piled on the ganache to even out the top and fill the crack. After that it looked ok, but the cake was very dense (make sure you've got plenty of milk) and lacked a very strong chocolatey flavor. The ganache frosting was good, but that seemed to be the best thing about the cake. I won't buy this again.
